LISA M. HAMMEL focuses on the representation of municipal and private clients in cases involving contract disputes, condemnation, real property and leases, and civil litigation. She also prepares simple wills, cohabitation agreements, and health care directives for private clients.

Ms. Hammel brings interdisciplinary skills to the practice, with degrees in law and engineering. She has experience in industrial and automotive manufacturing, and was an officer in a residential construction company for more than 10 years.

Ms. Hammel serves as an arbitrator for both King and Snohomish counties’ mandatory arbitration programs administered under the jurisdiction of the respective Superior Court systems. She also provides private arbitrations for businesses and individuals.

Ms. Hammel has served as a volunteer attorney with Eastside Legal Assistance since 1996, helping low-income clients with criminal and civil matters including domestic violence, consumer and landlord/tenant issues, wills and contracts.
